Kudos to Jollibee San Pedro

[REPOSTED from kstyled]

Was so surprised to receive a call today from the San Pedro branch of Jollibee. My first thought was, “Huh? I didn’t order anything.” Hahaha.

I believe the manager on the line was named Ray and he was calling to respond to my earlier blog about the Jollibee hotline. Apparently, somebody from the Jollibee head office forwarded my blog to him and he wanted to get the details of my dissatisfaction with their branch. After giving him the details, he apologized profusely and said that they take seriously my feedback about their fastfood chain, notably the San Pedro branch, and that he hopes I wil give them another chance.

Wow. Why? Because first, I was surprised that that certain blog reached the subject for discussion. The internet can really do wonders — so whoever it was that forwarded the link to my blog to the top honchos in Jollibee, hope you can forward this new blog to them as well.

Second, not only was I surprised that I received a call from Jollibee, I was also in shock that they would take time out to apologize and get the details of my complaint. I’ve gotten so used to several establishments here in Manila that do not really care if you’re satisfied with their service or not, so receiving a call on my mobile and hear an apology was really a pleasant surprise.

So yes, I will give them another chance. And my daughter will be so happy because she absolutely loves the Jollibee mascot! Here’s are pics of her copying the facial expression of the mascot. :)

re: the paseo sta. rosa restos, i honestly havent tried the others but had a bad experience sa chowking. Slow service na and all the food we ordered niluto sa lumang mantika so it was really bad...experienced it twice! we thought after talking to the manager and reporting our complaint, they are gona do something about it and improve the quality of their service...but after dropping by the place after a month or so, ganun pa rin! bad service and even bad food!
That's why I got so surprised that Jollibee called me to apologize. Didn't expect that at all. Hopefully they were sincere when they said that they will improve their service. I'll check out their branch again soon.

Let me just share with you guys an incident that happened to me last night with South Supermarket. They punched an item twice and I only saw it when I got home. When I went to their customer service area a while ago, they kept on apologizing for the mistake and for my troubles of going there again. Just like with Jollibee, I was surprised that they were very accommodating and they gave me the extra item that was punched right away. And here I was already prepared for them to say something like they can't really prove if I also got the extra time punched, etc. I was so ready to fight for the extra 1000 that was charged to me for something that I didn't get. Hahahaha!

Hope that the other establishments here in the Philippines take their cue from these customer-oriented joints. :)

Ang galing. That’s why they’re so successful.

I had a problem with Starbucks, I wrote them many times, published the complaint on my blog, even sent an email to head office in the States… and they couldn’t even get my point.

    Buti pa ang Jolibee. :)

Wow, and I thought that Starbucks would have better customer service. I really underestimated Jollibee!

Cool! Hey, they aren’t one of the top companies in the philippines for nothing… ehehehe!

But kudos for customer service… sometimes running a company isn’t always about making money. It is also about making your customers happy…

Recently I had a run in with the customer service of SUN Cellular. Good GOD! THEY SUCK!!

I have 4 lines in total. 1 from Smart, 1 from Globe and 2 for Sun (for me and my gf)… its funny how they have a dumb system that cuts your line once you reach your limit…

I understand reaching your limit, but to cut your line because your previous billing is interfering with your running bill.

To give you a better idea, get this:

    Previous Billing: Php 960.63

I paid the full amount before the cut off date. However, because the line is still being used, the account incurred more charges and inevitably reached the limit. But aren’t limits supposed to be for 1 billing period only??

Baffled as I was, I called up their hotline and asked about it. Fine, I accepted their system that cuts your line if you reach your limit. But what really pissed me the hell off was when I was promised reconnection within 24 hours and ended up waiting for 3 more days… sad to say, I ended up becoming acerbic to the agents handling my calls (yes CALLS… a shit load of calls)

In the end, I didn’t have to pay the balance that they were asking for… (coz they wanted me leastpay at to 50% of the billing)

I found this ludicrous since I just paid the previous billing in full and I will not pay for something in advanced and not without a proper billing statement.

If it weren’t for their unlimited calls, I’d drop my sun subscription right now.

And like I told their agents:

“You know why Globe and SMart are still on top of the market? Because your service still sucks! The only thing you have going for you is your unlimited calls.”

    Hehehe!

Well, i got my line reconnected and if they screw up one more time im cutting my subscriptions :P

So what’s the phone number of that Jollibee branch at the boundary of Muntinglupa and San Pedro? We also just moved into our new home here in La Marea, San Pedro, Laguna and just now, my wife is craving for a burger and when we dialled their 87000 number, they said that they don’t deliver here. Weird thing is, we’ve seen a Jollibee delivery motorcycle inside the village a few times so they probably do deliver here.

Jonathan: I’m sorry but I do not have their number. I haven’t had the chance to order from their branch after the unfortunate incident. But yes, they do deliver in La Marea, it’s just a matter of finding their number. Hehe!
